A singer-songwriter and a gatherer-wanderer wildlife photographer. Self-titled and entirely self-recorded debut album Mikko Siikavesi was released in April 2015.
Started writing songs at the age of 14. A gift of an old guitar from my uncle introduced me to songwriting. Musical influences include singer-songwriters of the early ’70s, MTV Unplugged sessions during the 1990s and artists such as Neil Young, Eddie Vedder, Nick Drake, and Bruce Springsteen
